Musician Master Chief (Surface Warfare), Manny Cepeda. Enlisted Bandleader for the US Navy Band. Graduated from Illinois State University earning a Bachelors in Music Education (1973), Associate Degree in Italian Studies, University of La Verne (1990), Bachelors of Arts, California Arts Institute, Web Design and Interactive Media (2013). Active community member as Leader of his own Salsa band in San Diego. Arranger, composer and percussionist. Adjunct professor of music Grossmont College (2005), teaching Music Fundamentals, Afro-Cuban Percussion and Director of the Grossmont Afro-Cuban Ensemble.
