I am an Augusta native and have been married for 41 years. My husband and I raised our eight children along with my niece. We are currently blessed with seventeen grandchildren. I am a Butler High School graduate. I went on to further my education at Georgia Military College, where I graduated with honors. Thereafter, I transferred to Paine College, where I graduated as the 2011 valedictorian. At the end of the 2019-2020 school year, I will have completed nine years of teaching. I am currently a first year high school teacher at Hephzibah High School.
