The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December.

Canvas does not have a native text-to-speech tool. If your school has one, it is a third-party tool integrated into Canvas. Google Chrome does have a text-to-speech plug-in available.
If you think your school has something already, you should contact your Canvas Support/Admin Department for assistance.
