I am able to get my kids courses and assignments.

how do I get the equivalent of the grades sheet.

More specifically, I want to get a list of course assignments with the completed/incomplete/missing status

Hi! I see that your question has gone unanswered for quite a while! I hope you found a solution or a process that worked for you and your family.

From a browser, the best way to view this information is through the Grades page. How do I view the Grades page for a student as an observer? 

Alternatively, Canvas Parent offers a great view that includes submission statuses. How do I use the Canvas Parent app on my iOS device? and How do I view the calendar of events and assignments for a student in the Canvas Parent app on my iO... 

Both views have great benefits, it just depends on which outcome you'd prefer.
