If a teacher manually assigns a badge to the wrong student is there a way to remove it?

I think it depends on what type of badging software/integration you're using.

No, I'm pretty sure you can't. I think you'd have to remove the badge completely to get it to go away.

Badgr, one of the badging platforms available to Canvas, has functionality that lets you "revoke" a badge if necessary.
