We have been using the Design Tool for over a year to design course templates, and are now getting ready to roll out UDOIT this summer. In doing some initial testing, we've found that that UDOIT scanner is not happy with some content edited within the Design Tool. It seems to specifically have issues with color contrast created in the Design Tool, even when it is white text on black background. Using the "U FIXIT" button in these cases has not resolved the issue, but, going back into the Design Tool and adjusting background and text colors we have been able to re-run the scanner and have it pass.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried using these two tools together, and whether you have any advice or lessons learned. Thanks in advance!
We just released an update to UDOIT that includes a rewrite of the color contrast detection and U FIX IT. I'm interested to see if the new version fares any better with the Design Tool you're using.
Yes, we are using both. We use Kennethware 2.0 to build our tabs and it works great. UDOITis relatively new to us, but it does a great job of making sure we are complying with ADA.
