Can i create an assignment where my student can click a button that they have complete the assignment?

Thanks so much for posting your question! If you're using modules in your course, you can add a module requirement where students have to submit an assignment. Students won't be able to mark the module as complete until they complete all the module requirements. If you check out How do I add requirements to a module?, you'll find instructions about adding module requirements.
