I am a student using Canvas and when clicking on my calendar my classes on the right side of my screen are grey. There are also no assignments shown on my screen even though there are assignments due. How do I fix this issue?

Hi @Nessa3
Yes, your course list on the calendar stay gray until you select one of the, then the assignments for that course will display. You should also see your assignments posted in the To-Do list on the Canvas Dashboard, and on the home pages of your Canvas courses.
Here are some short video that will help you get started:
I would strongly recommend that you navigate to your actual Canvas classrooms, and check them out: Click on Courses, then click on the title of any course in the list.
I would also suggest that you talk to your teacher about your concerns. It may be that your school also has resources available for new Canvas users.
Good luck and stay safe,
Kelley

A similar thing happened to me recently, I make some events or to-do things for my class and it only pops up on my dashboard but not the calendar. Does anyone know why this happens?
