[ARCHIVED] Can a student add an event to course calendar?

We are using a Canvas course with educators. The educators are added to this course as students. We want them to be able to add events to the course calendar, but when they add the event, there is not an option in the pull-down menu. Is there a way to give them access to add events to the course calendar while keeping them in the student role?

 @christinemoore , anyone enrolled in a course in the student role cannot create events on the course's calendar. That permission is restricted to the teacher role. Students can only add events to their own personal calendars.
