I have set up appointments in my coordinator's calendar for teachers to sign up for Zoom Discussions.  Can I add a teacher's name to a time slot for them?

Hi,  @placejy . Are you creating calendar events or appointment groups? There is a description field that can be used to convey information about an event and a details field for an appointment group, but I think to best answer your question, I could use more information about the situation. The second link is what I'm referring to. If Scheduler is enabled for your institution, you can create appointment groups in the Scheduler. Appointment groups create a block of time where students can meet with you. Students can sign up for appointment times in their own calendars.

If a student were to call me and say, "can you add me to the calendar on May 2nd at 3:00 pm" can I do that for this student or not? It seems that only the student can reserve a time for themselves on their own calendar and I do not have the ability to add them to a time slot in my calendar.

Hey  @placejy . Sorry that it has taken me a while to respond. Yes, that helps very much! I actually don't know the answer but one thing you could try is to use the "test student" from Student View (How do I view a course as a test student using Student View?‌) to see if you could use that to block that off so at least another student doesn't take that time slot.
