When was the Scan function added to the Student App. Also, will there be a possibility to save in a format other than jpg? I require my students to submit in pdf, docx, or xlsx format.

Hi @vafowler -
Isn't it awesome?! I believe it was added in April...?
Right now, .jpg is the only choice, and it's only available for Canvas Student users who have iOS devices.
I have been a fan of GeniusScan for the times when students need other file types to submit. I also share this so students with Android phones can have a high-quality scan too! While I"m not sure if GeniusScan will capture docx or xlsx, I have used the pdf option frequently.
