[ARCHIVED] Canvas: Submit Assignment Button Not Working

Hello,

I am unable to submit assignments for any of my courses. When I click on an assignment, the "Submit Assignment" button is there. However, once I click on it, I do not get redirected to the page that says "Choose File" for me to actually submit my assignment. I tried using different browsers, but it still won't allow me to submit anything.

Hmm. I don't have any other suggestions other than to contact Canvas Support, but maybe someone else has an idea? Sorry I couldn't help!

Have you specifically tried using Chrome? You might also want to clear your cache. Here are directions for doing that: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

Where do you get directed to, when you click on the button? Or does it not go anywhere?

I did use Chrome and cleared my cache, but nothing has changed. I do not get directed anywhere when I click the button.

Long shot here but after clicking the button did you scroll down the page?  The area to submit assignments and towards the bottom of the page.  On my computer I almost always have to scroll to even see it and at times have thought it wasn't there because of it.

Another potential issue could be related to installed browser extensions.  I've never heard of one causing that exact issue but I have seen an extension prevent a Submit button from even being displayed.  If you want to test that scenario trying opening an Incognito window in Chrome and test it out.  When in incognito mode any installed extensions should be disabled.  If it works that way there is a good chance that a browser extension is causing the issue.

Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work on Google Chrome. However, I can now submit assignments through Safari. I appreciate all the suggestions!
