[ARCHIVED] Canvas works on Microsoft Edge but not on Google Chrome

Does anyone know why Canvas works on Microsoft Edge but not on Google Chrome? Since yesterday, when I access Canvas on Google Chrome (which I have always done for years), I cannot access the courses or the inbox (or the dashboard). It works well only on Microsoft Edge.

I'd be most grateful for an explanation - thank you so much,

I'm not having any problems accessing Canvas using Chrome 99.  I'd make sure that you are using the most current Chrome version.  There's a list of supported browsers and browser versions at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Basics-Guide/What-are-the-browser-and-computer-requirement...

Thank you so much - yes, I am using the latest browser. What I did was purchase an antivirus yesterday, but Canvas still worked after that. It was only earlier today that I could not access the dashboard, the inbox, and the courses. I really do not know what happened...

What happens if you temporarily disable the anti-virus, or at least set Canvas as a "trusted site"?

Double-checking your browser's version is a great place to start. However, some languages are causing issues with the dashboard and other course content loading. You can follow  [OPEN] Users unable to load Dashboard for updates and for more information.

If you contact Support, they will link you to the ticket and you'll receive updates along the way. I know it's not an immediate solution, but I hope it helps provide some clarity!

I had the same issue last night. I resolved the issue by uninstalling Chrome and reinstalling it and clearing the cache.
