I have a brand new Samsung Chromebook 3 that is fully updated. When I find the app in google app store, it says I don't have a compatible device. Why is this? How can I fix this?

Hi @ErikaSawyer
Can you share a link to the app you are trying to install?
I'm actually not aware of an Canvas app specifically for Chromebooks. I think you would be better off using the web browser to access Canvas on your new device.

Hi @ErikaSawyer -
Some Chromebooks support apps from Google Play.
Install Android apps on your Chromebook - Google Play Help
From here, I was able to find that Samsung Chromebook 3 is included on the Chrome OS Systems Supporting Android Apps - The Chromium Projects
Using the first link I shared, make sure that the Google Play store is set up with your device correctly. That way, you should be able to install apps directly from your browser and onto the Chromebook.
Even though you can possibly install Canvas Student on your Chromebook, I think your best experience for this particular device (as I believe it doesn't have a touch-screen) would be through the Chrome browser.
