[ARCHIVED] Edit a question from a question bank after students have taken quiz

If a quiz uses question banks that pull questions and I have to edit the answer on a question after students have taken the quiz,  is there a way to update the question that will also update the quiz scores for submitted quizzes?

There is not.  The regrade option does not work with questions that are linked from a question bank; if you update them the next time that question is used the changes will be reflected, but that is all.  This is one reason I've never been a big fan of using Question banks.  Instead, I tend to use a Question group and instead of linking to a Bank, add all of the possible questions directly into the question group.  The end effect for students is the same, they get randomly selected questions from a larger group; but I have better abilities to regrade if needed.  Having said that, in many cases I know question banks are easier to work with especially if you have very large numbers of questions. I'm just sharing my process and what has worked well for me.

You need to fix this Canvas! I have over 100 students that took the quiz. I realized only afterward that one of the questions was marked incorrectly. So now I have to go through and see who got that particular question and change the points.  Surely this is an easy fix for one of your programmers.
