I was wondering if it was possible to mark more than one student as excused for an assignment. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
(Context: I recently had a technical issue with the publisher tool which made me decide to cancel some assignments. Unfortunately, some students had already done all the assignments, so I could no longer unpublish them. The easiest fix I could think of was to excuse students who had not done them yet. We're talking about 10-15 assignments in total, and I would have to excuse each assignment PER STUDENT which I am finding to be extremely tedious and time confusing! To be able to mark more than one student as excused in a few clicks would be tremendously helpful.)
This would be awesome! It's SOO time consuming!
Hello there @jflores26 and @bkillins ...
This isn't a direct answer to your question, but I did find a similar question here in the Community that may help a little ... only that a link to an existing Feature Idea was provided which you may be interested in. The conversation is located at Solved: Excuse an assignment for multiple students quickly - Instructure Community. If you feel that the linked Feature Idea aligns with something you'd like to see implemented by Instructure, I'd encourage you both to give it a star rating (see the Guide I've linked below) and maybe even post a comment to that Idea letting them know why this would be important to you.
How do idea conversations work in the Instructure Community?
Sorry if this isn't the exact solution you're looking for, but I hope the information will be helpful to you.
