[ARCHIVED] Find student grades after the student is removed from the course

How would I find a student's details (grades, past assignments, etc.) if he/she has been out of the class for a long time and is no longer enrolled in the class?

Hi  @eric_rigby  Welcome to the Canvas Community.

Apparently there is a way. I just learned something too.

Rather than taking credit for the answer here are the wise words from others Can I view a dropped students previous grades? 

Basically re-add the student into the course temporarily will do the trick.  Export their grades etc, then remove them from the course.

Thank you,  @Bobby2  Your answer and the one you linked to  @bneporadny ‌ were what I was looking for. I guess our SIS does not automatically remove students from Canvas when they finish a course, it puts them into a "concluded enrollment" category, which is where I can see past students and their course info.
