Hello All!

I'm new here so please forgive me if I'm posting this question in the wrong group:-) I need your genius. How do I change (gve permission) for a regular user to a course teacher. I want them to be able to create their own courses and handle all the logistics. Any info or direction is greatly appreciated:-)

At the course-level when you enroll a user, you assignment them their role and the list of roles is based on the global roles created as an admin. The only real way to change a user's role at the course level is to re-enroll them with that new role. Canvas will recognize the highe3st level of permissions for that user.

There is currently a feature request to permit changing the users role instead of deleting and re-enrolling them.- in the new role.
