The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
We're a 3rd Party provider and have a standalone account created on canvas.instructure.com. We are in need of a Canvas account with full admin rights, so we can create courses with users that have the TA role.
We’re currently blocked on an issue one of our customers reported, where Canvas course TAs are not receiving complementary access to Copia content, as is the case with teachers.
Does have guidance on how we can resolve? Thank you!

As you've noted, Free For Teachers accounts do not have admin capabilities. If your organization would be interested in purchasing a fully-featured Canvas instance that incorporates admin functionality, please click on the Request Info link you'll find on this page: https://www.instructure.com/#launch-request-info
Alternatively, your organization can create a self-hosted instance using Canvas open source for testing purposes. These sites will get you started:
