HSC Grade Book - hiding final assessment marks? Does anybody know how to hide the final assessment marks from students and parent observers for Gradebooks to ensure that students cannot access final marks please?

I think the option you're looking for might be "hide totals in student grade summary". Can you let us know if that accomplishes your goal?

@LynseyPorter do you mean just the final assessment of their total grade at the end? For an assessment, you can switch the posting policy to "Manual" for that item and then no one can see them until you release them (if you release them). The grades will show to the instructor of the course still and your view of the final grade will reflect the hidden items.

Hi Nick,
I mean the final assessment total from all the tasks during the year. In NSW, we cannot reveal final weighted add marks to students in the Year 12 HSC Year as per NESA guidelines. Can we prevent students and parents seeing the overall mark in the grade book? We have introduced real-time reporting in Canvas which is working really well but we just need some help with this road block.
