[ARCHIVED] HTML resource not diplaying in Canvas Android app

We have built a course which replies on a fictional case study - a fake school website built just using HTML, CSS and JPG images.  We have uploaded the website HTML resource package into the Course file area and linked to it from a Canvas page - It looks fine on desktop displays.

The problem is in the Android app (V5.4.1 on Android 6.0.1) - clicking the link brings up the first page of the HTML resource - but without CSS and without images. Clicking on any link then gives an error "net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED". So only the text on the first page is displayed and any links on that page do not work. If however the HTML resource is hosted extenally to Canvas then it functions correctly in Android.

I have seen this behaviour with two separate courses. Any idea how to get a HTML resource to display correctly in the Canvas Android app? Note I have not tested in the iOS app.  @glen_byram1
