[ARCHIVED] Hide Zoom tab in public course (but keep available for students)

I *love* that I can make courses on Canvas public so others outside the university paywall can access the course content. Since we're all-remote this year, we're using Zoom and I've scheduled class meetings within Canvas: also great.

But when I look at the public view of the course, the Zoom tab with all of our meetings shows up. Is there a way to hide that for the public but be visible to students who are logged in?

I have the waiting room enabled, so I'm not worried about Zoom-bombing – just don't want the meetings to show up at all for the public. Also, our class meetings aren't lectures but critiques and discussions, so I don't want outside folks seeing the previous session recordings either.

Any help would be appreciated!
