How can I align a particular assessment question with 1 or more outcomes? I found some posts which
suggested that this is possible provided the "new quizzes" option is chosen. So I investigated
"new quizzes" option by looking around in "settings" but couldn't find the switch to turn this on?
I am a psychometrician developing methods for assessment data analysis of questions which incorporate
information about how a particular question is related to one or more course learning outcomes.

Your school may or may not have New Quizzes turned on, so I would recommend that you reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department.  They would be able to tell you if New Quizzes is available in your Canvas environment.  If it is not yet available, they may also be able to tell you what their plans are for making it available to you and your colleagues.  Good luck to you!
