[ARCHIVED] How can I get permission to edit a new quiz & question bank in a class I teach

I made my secretary a teacher in one of my Canvas classes.  I had a brilliant idea that I could give her questions from a test I wrote in word, and she could put them into a quiz for me and then put those questions into separate question banks, based on how I plan to divide up the test into many quizzes.  Then I could go in and make quizzes using the question banks.

However when I went to create the first quiz,  it says I am not authorized to access the question banks or revise  the questions. In fact, I can't even see the question banks.     In an on-line Canvas community  message from 2018 it says this is a flaw in New Quizzes that  Canvas was planning to fix it, but it is now 2020 and it does not seem to have been fixed.  Link: https://community.canvaslms.com/thread/25119-inability-to-edit-an-item-bank-someone-else-created-bug... (Links to an external site.)

I was on the phone with Canvas, but was 23rd in line and gave up. I will email them.

Any suggestions?

Hello,  @davida_j_alperi  Welcome to the Canvas Community! In New Quizzes, item banks are associated with a user, so please ask your fellow instructor (secretary) to follow the instructions in https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26503-how-do-i-share-an-item-bank-in-new-quizzes to give you access to the item banks she created.
