I need to check DAILY activity. My program recieves FUNDING for the number of students who come to class whether they come to synchronous or ASYNCHRONOUS. Our classes are Monday-Thursday. We must report PRECISELY which days students attend. How can I do that with New Analytics?
OLD analytics did this perfectly. MY PROGRAM NEEDS something like the screenshot below, which Canvas used to provide. Now it doesn't. (which is incredibly stupid.)
Why would anyone at Canvas think that taking away daily activity was a good idea?
Hi @arthur_maturo_2,
Have you used the Online Attendance report that was released this past Saturday? It may offer some of the functionality that you are looking for in New Analytics.
Also, you are welcome to share your idea in our Idea Conversations space.
I have no idea where it's located.
Was the Online Attendance Report feature removed? Because I don't see it even after following the instructions on the link provided.
@dkamakura ...
No... the Online Attendance Report in New Analytics is still available. However, your school's Canvas administrator may not have enabled it in your school's Canvas environment. These are the directions that your Canvas admin would need to look at in order to enable it:
How do I enable the New Analytics Online Attendanc... - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
I hope this will be of help to you and others at your school!
Ah, that must be it! I'll need to talk with our admin to see if they would be willing to enable it for us. Thank you!
