[ARCHIVED] How can my student make the course visible on dashboard?

I have three new students (in different class periods) who cannot open my course in Canvas. When they try to select the star next to the course name in order to make the course visible, it doesn't allow them to do this.  Please let me know how they can make my course visible and accessible on their dashboard.
