I need to be able to see my students' grades in points, not percentages, in order to calculate midterm grades for the Registrar's office. But because I have weighted my assignments, I can't figure out how to UNweight them to see the grades in points.

In order to disable the weighting, do the following:
- Go to Assignments
- Click on the 3 dots
- Click on Assignment Groups Weight
- Unclick the little box next to "Weight final grade based on Assignment Groups"
That being said, you may find yourself creating a new problem by going back to "points." In my classes, not all points are equal. For example, a student could earn up to 200 points by doing homework exercises which account for 20% of the final grade. In the same class, the student will also take a midterm exam which also accounts for 20% of the final grade, but that exam only has a total of 50 points. If I remove the "weighting" and just go with "points," the grades will not make sense.
