In How do I create a question bank in an account? , Canvas says:
"You can create questions banks for your institution or subaccount. Question banks are quiz question repositories that admins and instructors can access when creating a quiz. They make it easy to offer the same quiz questions to students in different courses."
. . . except, it only seems that only someone who is an Admin for an account can do this. But, I am not the Admin for my course account -- I am the Instructor. So, all of the above steps are really useless to my situation, since I can't access ADMIN > DOCUMENTATION CANVAS > etc.
How do I as an Instructor create a question bank for my account, whose questions I could then use in different courses?
Solved! Go to Solution.
What you do is create your question banks in any of your courses, then bookmark those banks. Once bookmarked, you can then use the (retrieve questions from them) for use in quizzes in any of your courses. This guide will show you how https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-13001-415250748

Dear Kelley,
Thank you. I will try that.
I am confused, however, why the instructions from the Canvas Doc Team don't even mention that solution.
Instead, the instructions claim that I as Instructor can create a Question Bank that could be used across courses. Then, it purports to show me how to do that . . . except, it doesn't really, since I'm not Admin.
