My course files are all pdf's generated by TeX. As a start to making things a bit more accessible, I plan to create html files (using latexml) from the TeX file,s and list them as an alternate to the pdf. But when I try to create a link to the html file in the syllabus page, the link is highlighted, but does not do anything. How do I link to html files in the course files?

Hi @rao_3 ,
You should be able to upload the .html file into the files area and then create a link to that file and it should render inside the viewing area of the Canvas interface. If it isn't working, check the link again to make sure it is accurate. You can also go to the files area and click on the html file and it should render in preview mode. If it doesn't render your admin folks may block this from happening. The reality is, it works fine for me so check that the link is correct as a starter.
If you still have problems just let us know and we will give you more help.
Best,
Randy
