How do I place these figures next to the page name? follow the example below:
Solved! Go to Solution.
I believe the solution you're seeking is to enter edit mode for the page, choose the appropriate symbol, and copy-paste it into the page name itself; this also works for assignment titles and module headers. https://emojipedia.org is a great source of emojis, but there are many others; you can also find suitable emojis by searching for unicode symbol tables such as this one. How do you setup icons rather than text for modules? might also provide guidance.
Hi @pereiraam,
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you want the symbols to display next the page, the points possible to display, or something else?
Naomi
yes, the symbols are part of the name of the page and not inside the page.
Hi @pereiraam,
Oh. Are you wanting to have those custom icons display where the assignment/page icons currently display? So they'd display similarly to your module headers, like your Math, Social Studies, and Science headers? If so, I don't believe it's currently possible to replace the default assignment/page icons with custom icons. If you think adding that functionality would improve Canvas, you can create a feature idea to suggest that change. To learn more about feature ideas, check out: How do I create a new idea conversation in the Canvas Community? and How do idea conversations work in the Canvas Community?
