[ARCHIVED] How do I post on discussion boards with no "post reply" button or option?

I am taking an online course, and have taken them in the past, and am not seeing a way to post discussion questions on discussion boards - I do not have a post reply option.  I am wondering if I need to contact the instructors because this is happening for all three online courses that I am taking.
