[ARCHIVED] How do a create a Zoom webinar in Canvas?

Hi -- I have incorporated Zoom into my class's canvas page and saw how to schedule a meeting, which I have done successfully.  For my classes, which have a large number of students I want to use the Zoom webinar instead of meeting and cannot find where this option is selected.

You say "tomato" and I say "tomato". A Zoom meeting is a webinar. It is simply a jargon thing.

The really is a difference between meeting and webinar. You can see it if you go to the zoom website and you can setup either type of meting.

 @rusack ‌, I found this blurb on Zoom's page for webinars. The tl;dr is that webinars are big meetings with some bells and whistles available.

Thanks — I have managed to create a Zoom webinar and at other times usual zoom meetings. It seems that in canvas it is only possible to create a zoom meeting, not a webinar. I’d prefer to do it through Canvas so that it shows up on the student’s calendars.
