[ARCHIVED] How to assign points per correct match in New Quiz - Matching?

I created a Matching type in New Quiz with 5 question/answer pairs.

If the student does not answer all the question/answer pairs correctly, there was no score recorded. So, I have to manually assign the score.

Can we assign points per correct match automatically in Matching type?

I reviewed the following Guide, and it doesn't look like partial credit for matching questions in New Quizzes is an option at this time.  Check out the information displayed in the light blue box at the top of this Guide: How do I create a Matching question in New Quizzes... - Canvas Community.

Thank you very much for your response.

As of the moment, this is what I did.

• I separated all the question/answer pairs. This means I made 5 Match type questions.
• I made one question/answer pair and put some distractors, duplicate the question and just change the question/answer pair.

It takes more time creating the questions but it saves time checking answers.
