[ARCHIVED] How to create my own personal event on calendar as a student

How do I create my own personal event on Canvas calendar as a student? Every time, I click the date I want to set my event to be and the "Edit Event" tool comes up. But even after I fill it out, and press submit, nothing happens. I just want to remind myself of certain events that teachers do not post.

Make sure you have a "Calendar" selected.  Since you want this to be a personal event select your own name as the Calendar:
