I need to get more information on an assignment for class. The problem is I don't know how to email the instructor so I can get help.

Hi  @kourtneimiles  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

Canvas does not have  email, but it does have a messaging system called Inbox you can use to message your instructor. Learn how at https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10574-4212710325
