[ARCHIVED] How to import course-level grading schemes and grading periods?

In the past we have been able to import course-level grading schemes via course copy (attached to the course settings option if you're selecting content to import).  I have tried to replicate this behavior to import course-level grading periods but I keep getting this error message:

The grading period I am trying to import was created at the course-level rather than at the account-level.

I know the multiple grading periods feature is new to the production environment, but as anyone successfully imported a grading period? (Canvas Studio: Multiple grading periods​)

We were thinking this might be a work-around for us to share school-wide grading periods with teachers while still allowing them to edit grades after the grading period has ended (​)

Sorry Clint.  I do not.  If there are plans to add this desired functionality, that information is going to have to come from our Product team.  If I had any info, I'd share.

Hi Lane,

According to our product team, importing a grading scheme doesn't work with grading periods yet. However, our product manager is working with the team to best figure out how to support it. Hopefully we'll have more information for you soon!
