- If you have PowerPoint 2013, you could add the free "Office Mix" plugin and then create presentations. These fill the page.
- I used the free version of MS Expression Web to create a set of pages, zipped the folder up and then upload/expanded them. This fills the screen width also.
- Someone pointed out a free web page template ( http://www.opendesigns.org/website-templates/ ) and I edited those pages, zipped the folder up and upload/expanded it. Fills the screen.
- Probably SCORM creation tools would produce a similar output.
- And, since I use WordPress already, just add a link to the start page for your WP site and it opens full width from the left navigation menu.
With WP you need to make sure your site theme is "responsive," so that if someone opens your Canvas pages and you are referencing the WP site, the theme will dumb down for the device you are using. Also, you need to reference secure pages "https" or Canvas (and other LMSs) will not display the content.
Look under Miscellaneous Web Tools for some examples:

Looks like most web page creation tools could create a page. You just add images, embed videos, etc. The only thing you have to do is make sure it works outside of Canvas... zip up the entire folder, upload and have Canvas expand it. Then find your start page and it will fill the screen to the right of the navigation menu.
