Hi
On Discussions, I know how to upload a video or audio recording using the media button on the rich editor box/bar and selecting a file from my computer, but is there a way to directly record using the record tab (instead of the upload one) and save as a reply? I see I can record and save but I can not find a way to post it and I do not see where it is saved.
Thank you

Hi Guadalupe,
When you record the audio/video directly in the Rich Content Editor, as described inhttps://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10627-4212710345 , the video is saved directly in Canvas. There is no "locating" or "uploading" the file.

Thank you, but where on Canvas? The video does not appear in the "reply"
box on Discussions, where I recorded it and I cannot find it on Files, so where
do I click to access the file and post it as part of my reply?
When I go to the "upload media" tab and click on select audio or select a
video file, it gets me to a window in my hard drive, i cannot go to any
Canvas folder from there.
Thank you

Hi Guadalupe,
You should see the "Record/Upload Media" option in the RCE when replying to discussion post, just like this:
