[ARCHIVED] Immersive Reader + External Tool

I am struggling with the Immersive Reader in an assignment if I also include an External Tool.

For example: the Immersive Reader will work when I create an assignment, but when I allow students to annotate using the Google KAMI integration in the external tools the immersive reader disappears. When I delete the External tool submission option, the Immersive Reader appears again.  I understand the Immersive Reader will not recognize the content in the external tool, but I am surprised it does not work for the instruction portion. 

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, the immersive reader will not work with any assignment that has the submission type set to "external tool"

This would make a great feature request.
