I have been able to download Canvas data using canvasDataCli, but what I'm ultimately interested in doing is importing canvas data (with headers) into MySql. I would appreciate instructions on how to accomplish this.
Thank you.
Hi @nresearcher -- You posted this question in our Alliance Partner - AspirEDU discussion space but we don't have anything to do with Canvas data. I think you'll want to ask this in a group specific to Canvas data.
Hello,
Just to follow on to what Chris already posted, I went ahead and moved this question to Canvas Data.
Thanks,
Scott
Hey there!
There's some good info on how to do this here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13579810/how-to-import-data-from-text-file-to-mysql-database
Here's the official MySQL documentation: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/load-data.html

Hi NYCLYA Researcher,
@James from Richland U, created a fantastic GitHub repository to connect Canvas Data into MySQL, PHP, and Perl
canvancement/canvas-data at master · jamesjonesmath/canvancement · GitHub
Hope that helps!
