Hello! I create hyperdocs in googledocs, googledrawing, or googleslides and then create an assignment using the External Tool: Google Docs Cloud Assignment feature. It may be a place for you to start. 

Here is an example of hyperdoc I created for my Environmental Science using links from Google Earth that the students had to visit. The assignment was then 'assigned' in Canvas. I have provided some helpful directions below for how to take something you have created in #google‌ and then assign it in Canvas.

How do I create a cloud assignment with a Google Drive file? 

How do I get to SpeedGrader from an assignment, quiz, or graded discussion?

I also forgot to mention that Wizer (digital worksheet) will integrate with Canvas via an embed code you can obtain. I found this tutorial that you might want to try. It is linked here.
