I'm asking this on behalf of a faculty member. Any tips and or workaround would be greatly appreciated!!

@zal5010 , if I'm understanding your question correctly, this functionality is already available in the Canvas Gradebook. By clicking on the little arrow next to the assignment name in the Gradebook column header, the teacher can then click on Assignment Details and see the range and average score, as well as the number of submissions. Please refer to How do I view assignment details in the Gradebook? for a depiction of this; it's not necessary to go into the individual view to see it. Is this what the faculty member is after?
