[ARCHIVED] Lesson registration - date and signature stamp

HI everyone,

My College is only new to Canvas (and we are loving it). Has anyone found a good way to complete lesson registration with a date stamp and digital signature? Particularly when there are multiple classes doing the one course.

I'm not sure if this would work for your need but I'm gonna give it a go...

You could use an assignment (use online text entry) or discussion and ask the students to "sign" (type) their name in the box. The date/time would also be recorded. Would this work?
