How can I link/merge different course sections into a single course, since their contents are identical?

Hi @gko ...

This is accomplished via cross-listing.  You may be able to do this on your own.  However, if not, you will need to contact your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department to see if they can do it for you.  Here is a Guide for you to look at: How do I cross-list a section in a course as an instructor?.
