Stefanie has retired, so you won't be hearing from her any longer. That seems strange that you're not able to submit work using your Chrome web browser. Have you tried downloading another web browser to see if submitting works any better for you? I've been using Edge quite a bit, and it works pretty well. But, another option for you would be the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Also, it's a good idea for you to occasionally clear your browser cache. Then, close your browser and re-start to see if it makes a difference. You might also check with Canvas Support.
