[ARCHIVED] Notification of Quiz Completion

Hi There. I have set up a short course in Canvas that ends up with a multiple choice end of class Quiz. The results of this appear in the gradebook. Is there a way to receive a notification of when a student completes that quiz? Right now I have to keep checking each cohort to see if anyone new has "passed" and it would be a help if I could just receive a notification.

This depends on how you have set up your notifications in your Canvas Account.

Thanks Bobby - I guess my question was which element of the notification menu do I need to turn on? I thought the most obvious was "submissions" - but that didn't work.

I'm probably being very dense !

Not dense at all!

Have you only just turned that on? What have you got it set to? Daily, weekly, instantly?

Daily right now. 

No notifications after 48 hours.

Perhaps there is something odd about quizzes and they don't count as a submission

If you hover over All Submissions in Notifications you will see that it says:
Instructor and Admin only:
Assignment (except quizzes) submission/resubmission

Right, so how do we get notifications when someone submits a quiz??

We don't and its awful considering New quizzes is being used for all aspect of instruction

I agree that quiz notification would be a valuable feature and we should have it.  How do we know if this is being worked on (or planned to be worked on)?
