What is the foreign key or cross table in the Canvas Data Schema to link an observer to their student?

I can't seem to find that anywhere in Canvas Data and I need to pull students and their observers to build an official transcript report

Hi Michael,

Thank you for contacting Canvas Data Support! When looking through the schema myself, you are correct that there is currently no way to determine the observer to observee relationship. I have submitted a feature request to the data team and attached this ticket to it so that you will be notified when there are any updates.

I believe this is an important gap that needs to be filled in Canvas Data as the observer feature is used by many schools. In the mean time, I can see that this information can be gathered through the API (https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/user_observees.html).

Also experiencing this as an issue. I couldn't see any progress or change since the response above so have created a Feature Idea - https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/17066-add-observer-student-relationship-to-canvas-data . Please feel free to upvote!
