I have one question on a quiz that the majority of students got incorrect. I want to make it so that those who missed it get credit for it, but not add extra points to those that got it correct. Is there a way to do this in Canvas Quizzes?
Thanks!

Hi @ksmith14
The easiest way to do this is to open the quiz in SpeedGrader, scroll down to the missed item, give that student Fudge Points for the item, then move to the next student - Canvas will keep the quiz focus on the item selected for the previous student, so this moves rather quickly. As you go through the student submissions, give fudge points to the individuals who missed the item. Alternately, you could just add the points directly into the missed item in SpeedGrader for each student.
I hope this is helpful,
Kelley

Hi!
I knew about all this, but was wondering if it's the only way. I've used platforms in the past that could mark a specific question as "optional", so that's what I was looking for. One button that would do it for all the quizzes. Guess we can't do that in Canvas!
Thanks!
