[ARCHIVED] Quiz: "Out of 0" Discrepancy

I posted a quiz for three of my sections. Two were fine, but one of them lists the correct question value in the quiz, but is treating the overall value of the quiz as out of 0. I cannot find a way to make the assignment value overall match the question value. Screenshot is attached.

Hi Edmund,

The first thing I noticed when looking at your course and at the student submission in your screenshot was that the course assignment groups are weighted such that some groups with no assignments account for a percent of the course grade and some groups that do have graded assignments account for no percent of the overall grade.  If were you I would start by comparing weighting from one section to the others.

Our teachers are running into similar problems with the New Quizzes feature.  If they try to adjust the number of points, it does not accept that and they are having to recalculate and manually adjust the grades in their grade books.  Any word on a timeline for a fix for this?

I'm running into the same problem.  There aren't assignment group weights, but it's like several quizzes have been changed to "out of 0" though it shows that there are 10 points on a quiz.

After playing around, I found that if I check the checkbox "Let Students See Their Quiz Responses (Incorrect Questions Will Be Marked in Student Feedback)" it fixes the problem and it shows the correct number of points. This is clearly a bug and it needs to be fixed.

But I do not wish for the students to see the correct or incorrect answer. what then?

I also found that toggling that setting, regardless of what it's originally set to, seemed to correct the problem.
