I have started to create an exam. After making my initial save, I review the exam characteristics:
Shuffle Answers Yes
Time Limit 30 Minutes
Multiple Attempts No
...
Webcam Required No
...
I could find no procedure to "require a webcam" - how do I do this?
Regards,
William Feild

Hi, @feildwb , I have never encountered this before, but the first thing that comes to mind is Respondus. Is the quiz set to require the Respondus Lockdown Browser and is your school using Respondus Monitor (which does require a webcam)? If not, it sounds like an external proctoring application your school is using. Please let us know more about where you've created the quiz and what tools the school might offer to administer it. Thanks.

Howdy @feildwb ,
Pardon me. I understand what you are talking about now.
I believe that summary statement (which is part of Canvas) is related to Respondus Lockdown Browser settings. Since you are not using RLDB, then it will say "Webcam Required NO." The students do not see this statement.
As long as you have selected "Record Webcam" in the Honorlock settings, you're good.
